ABOUT ME

My therapeutic career began with a two-year counselling training programme at Birkbeck, University of London, followed by a five-year Master of Science programme in Gestalt Psychotherapy at the renowned Metanoia Institute in London. I am accredited by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Before moving into private practice, I worked with various non-profit organisations and the NHS, supporting people from all walks of life in facing life’s challenges. My therapeutic practice is grounded in over twenty years of experience in healthcare, which supports my understanding of the mind-body connection, anxiety and trauma related to medical experiences, and the challenges of working in high-pressure environments.

As a European living in the UK since 2001, I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds. My own experience of living across cultures has deepened my appreciation of how ethnicity, cultural identity, and belonging influence our sense of self. In my practice, I provide a space where these experiences can be explored with openness and curiosity.

I believe that an internal sense of freedom is one of the most valuable aspects of personal psychology, and I am particularly interested in how our perception of self shapes our relationships, decisions, and overall life experience.

I offer therapy in English and Czech.
